This shell formed charging station was built in the city park of Kalmar in October 2010. The idea was to turn the electricity from a public lamp post into an accessible source for anyone to benefit from. As a contrast to the dark and cold Swedish winter, the installation functioned as a hot spot where you could heat up, get light therapy and charge your phone.
